Rules for players
Be Mindful
You can take your phone into the room but we’d ask you not to take any photos or videos while inside the room. We build everything ourselves and we just want to keep everything nice and private. This extends beyond photos and videos though. When you’re coming out of your room after a game, be mindful that others may be in the lobby about to play the game so avoid talking about the game obviously til you know the place is empty. Please also don’t write the answers on the clues. Either we spot it before the next game and we need to replace it or we don’t and it’s spoiled for the next team. We’d also appreciate if you wouldn’t post specific details about the game if talking about us online. It’s all about keeping things a surprise for new players
Be Nice
This applies to both the Game Master(s) and other players, on your team or otherwise. Escape rooms can be stressful and with the time pressure, we understand that people can get frustrated. However, aggressive or antisocial behaviour towards staff or players is not acceptable. We will end games and refuse entry if players are belligerent or visibly intoxicated. Everyone has the right to be respected and treated properly, in an escape room is no different.
Be Gentle
None of our puzzles require brute force or strength, it’s all about using your wit. If something doesn’t immediately give, leave it be. It either opens later or it isn’t supposed to open. We especially don’t hide anything in awkward places like inside the floor, walls and ceiling. Please don’t be the grown man who tore a camera out of the wall on us. You also don’t need to climb on furniture, move large items of furniture, disassemble any furniture, make holes in the walls or pull cables out of holes you’ve just made in the wall, use bolt cutters on combination locks or  use your keys as a screwdriver…. for example.
